Jesus Mission

Promotion of Education

On a regular basis, We have started boys’ and girls’ education programs to make people aware of the importance of literacy. we regularly distribute books free of cost to the participants in this program. The participants of the program benefited greatly and parents of participating children agreed to encourage others so others can also benefit from these camps for the welfare of the masses. To make a better society in the future we must create awareness for literacy among common people.

Admission Campaigns

JESUS MISSION is dedicated to organizing Dakhila Abhiyan (Admission Campaigns) in Halisahar’s resettlement colonies and slums, aiming to empower the community by encouraging them to send their children to government schools with the support of education officers from the government department. In pursuit of this goal, JESUS MISSION conducts various rallies and public meetings to raise awareness about the significance of education and actively facilitate the enrollment of children into schools.

Children Welfare

JESUS MISSION also actively engages in promoting children’s welfare and establishing Children’s Clubs. We recognize the importance of creating a nurturing environment for children to thrive. Through our initiatives, we strive to provide comprehensive support and care for children, focusing on their well-being, safety, and development. These efforts include organizing various activities, workshops, and events that foster their holistic growth, enabling them to realize their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.

Mid-Day Meal Program

In our commitment to enhancing the overall well-being of children, JESUS MISSION actively participates in the implementation of the Mid-Day Meal Program. This program aims to provide nutritious meals to school-going children, ensuring that they receive essential nourishment for their physical and cognitive development. By collaborating with schools and local authorities, JESUS MISSION ensures the smooth functioning and effective implementation of the Mid-Day Meal Program. We understand the vital role that proper nutrition plays in a child’s educational journey, and our dedicated efforts are geared towards ensuring that children have access to healthy meals, enabling them to thrive academically and improve their overall quality of life.

Adult Literacy Program

In our pursuit of promoting education and empowerment, JESUS MISSION also places a strong emphasis on adult literacy programs. Through our adult literacy program, we provide opportunities for adults to learn basic literacy and numeracy skills, empowering them to improve their lives and actively participate in social and economic activities. By offering tailored classes, workshops, and educational resources, JESUS MISSION aims to enhance the literacy levels of adults, enabling them to gain confidence, expand their knowledge, and improve their overall quality of life.

We actively support women’s economic independence by donating sewing machines and involving them in tailoring activities. By providing sewing machines and training, we enable women to acquire valuable skills in tailoring and garment making. Furthermore, we provide ongoing support and mentorship to ensure that these women are able to apply their skills effectively and find employment opportunities within the garment industry or even establish their own small businesses. By fostering entrepreneurship and promoting economic self-sufficiency, we aim to uplift women, improve their socioeconomic status, and contribute to the overall development of the community.

Drawing School

Through our programs, we provide children with opportunities to explore various art forms, learn different techniques, and develop their artistic skills. Our qualified instructors and volunteers guide children in discovering their unique talents and encourage them to express themselves through drawing and other forms of art. By engaging children in artistic activities, JESUS MISSION aims to ignite their creativity, promote cultural appreciation, and empower them to explore their potential in the world of arts.
